The 9th Spektrum Film Festival is waiting for submissions! Open call for four Young Perspective competitions will be open until June 30, 2023

Call for entries for Young Perspective competitions within Spektrum Film Festival is officially open. Until June 30 young filmmakers from all over the world can submit their short films in four competition sections, which will be presented during the 9th edition of the festival which once again will be taking place in the fall – dates SOON!

The Youth Perspective – Short fiction (competition)
The Youth Perspective – Documentary (competition)
The Youth Perspective – Animation (competition)
The Youth Perspective – Amateurs (competition)

The Youth Perspective: Short Fiction – Documentary – Animation competitions are dedicated to filmmakers up to 35 years of age. The Youth Perspective – Amateur’s competition is dedicated for younger directors, up to 21 years old of age that are not students at any professional film school and who are yet to begin their career in the cinema & short film world. The length of each film must not exceed 30 minutes.

The winners will be carefully chosen by a three-person Jury consisting of the professionals from the world of art and cinema, indicating which directors should be looked at in the coming years. Additionally, to accentuate the festival’s local character and identity, all competition films will be also judged by separate Jurys with the involvement of the local community members from the city of Świdnica and Lower Silesia region.
