Festival Club

Spektrum Uciech is our programme of festival side events, taking over Klub Bolko from Wednesday to Saturday — with one exception: on Sunday, we’re heading beyond Świdnica!

All events are free for festival pass holders and anyone with a ticket to any SPEKTRUM screening.

For everyone else, admission to each event at Klub Bolko is PLN 15

WEDNESDAY

22:00 — Improvised Performance

A fully improvised performance based on audience suggestions.
Expect improvised dubbing, lines from cult films and a glimpse into an actor’s worst nightmare. Nothing is planned in advance — you will have a say in what happens on stage.

THURSDAY

23:00 — SpektrumBury

Hosted by: Lech Moliński and Maciek Kielar

SpektrumBury is the festival version of the popular game of charades.
We’ll be guessing, acting things out, racking our brains and, above all, having a great time. There will be prizes for the winners, along with special appearances by the festival organisers and guests.
Lech Moliński and Maciek Kielar will be in charge of this evening’s full spectrum of fun.

FRIDAY

23:30 — DJ Sets | Gelvin Elager, Eduarda Bones

Friday night belongs to Gelvin Elager and Eduarda Bones.

Gelvin Elager is a DJ and producer moving between dub, techno and house. His selections draw on deep and soulful house from the 2000s and 2010s, mixed with touches of dub and electro. He has performed at Wrocław clubs including Ciało, Sikalafą and HUTA, as well as at events organised by the saarausound collective, which he co-founded.

Eduarda Bones is the DJ alias of Edka Jarząb — a sound artist and co-founder of the community-run Radio Kapitał. Her practice incorporates radio waves, field recordings and extended vocal techniques. Her DJ sets are rooted in the belief that dance is a form of resistance and that musical selection can expand our musical imagination.

SATURDAY

11:00 — “Staging Świdnica — Perceiving and Creating the City” Walk

Meeting point: entrance to Klub Bolko
Led by: Mateusz Parużyński

What does Świdnica look like when we begin to see it as a film set?

Mateusz Parużyński invites you on a Saturday walk through the city. A professional walker and enthusiast of local stories, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He runs the Instagram and Facebook profile @cztery_dziewiec, documenting his travels through Poland’s former regional capitals.
During the walk, we will take a closer look at Świdnica, its architecture and urban fabric, and at what makes the city so distinctive.

23:00 — Bingo

As every year, Klub Bolko’s stage will be taken over by SPEKTRUM audiences’ favourite game — a gloriously random and beautiful competition.

Who will be the first to score a full house? Nobody knows.

What we do know is that Bingo will be hosted by the ever-reliable Filip — a bingo expert, a man with a brilliant sense of humour and an extraordinary green thumb.

00:00 — Aurorechute x VJ Michał Szota

Once the champion of chance has been crowned, it’s time to dance away all your sorrows.

Aurorechute, the project of Gero Piro, blends classical sounds with raw, hypnotic deep techno, creating a groove-driven journey through the underground.

The visuals will be created by Michał Szota — a digital artist and creative technologist who, as a VJ, experiments with his own software, media art, silence and noise.

Sound + image + Bolko = the perfect end to festival Saturday.

SUNDAY

11:00 — A Quarter with the Director

Meeting point: in front of High School No. 1

On Sunday at 11:00, we swap cinema seats for bicycle saddles and head out of Świdnica towards Lake Bystrzyckie. The man behind the well-known cycling trips “Dojazd z Kosuniem” has decided to organise a slightly more easy-going 😉 SPEKTRUM ride.

We set off from High School No. 1. There will be time for conversation, a little climbing and a stop at the Lubachów Dam. From there, we’ll cycle around the lake before heading back to the city. No racing — we ride together, at a pace that still leaves room for a chat.

Suggested route: Świdnica → Bystrzyca Dolna → Burkatów → Bystrzyca Górna → Lubachów → across the dam → around Lake Bystrzyckie via Zagórze Śląskie → back to Świdnica. Approximately 31–33 km. Traseo

Bring a roadworthy bike, a helmet and some water. We’ll provide a good reason to start your festival Sunday outside the cinema.
