We know the titles for The Youth Perspective!

41 short films from 16 countries have been selected in this year's record-breaking submission for the 4 The Youth Perspective competitions

One of the main pillars of the Spektrum Film Festival program is the The Youth Perspective International competitions. This October, first in Trutnov and then in Świdnica, the festival audience will once again see carefully selected short narratives, animations, and documentaries by young, independent filmmakers, ranging from professional productions to debuts made outside of film schools. This year’s competition submission broke records, with as many as 859 entries!

The 10th Spektrum program includes 45 short films (22 of which were directed by women) from various countries around the world, including Palestine, the United States, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Poland, and Belgium. The Spektrum audience will have the chance to watch outstanding titles, some just starting their festival journeys, alongside films that have already earned recognition at international festivals, including Berlinale and Sundance. The main prizes will be awarded by a Jury of professionals from the film and arts industry, while the competition films will also be judged by a local Jury once again. In 2024, for the first time, the audience award will be presented by viewers in both Trutnov and Świdnica.
