Competitions
The Spektrum Festival focuses on young filmmakers.
During the festival, there is one feature film competition and five competitions dedicated to short films.
"1,2"
The award in the International "1,2" Competition is given to feature-length debuts and second films.
The Youth Perspective
The Youth Perspective is an international competition of short films. Young filmmakers can submit their films in four categories: short fiction, documentary, animation and amatours competition. In the first three categories are for those under 35 years. The amateur competition is open to filmmakers under the age of 21 and are not not participating in film schools. The length of films in each category may not exceed 30 minutes. Additionally, among the Polish productions competing in the fiction, documentary, and animation sections, one winner is selected in the Polish Competition.

The Youth Perspective
The festival audience from Trutnov and Świdnica also selects their favorite from all four The Youth Perspective competitions, awarding a joint audience prize.
