He lives, creates, and walks around Wrocław. He can’t really say what kind of music he makes — but he doesn’t think that matters. On his April-released album Comedy Club, he used beats inspired by Pharrell and Sigur Rós to share difficult emotions. Probably the least funny Comedy Club you could ever find yourself in.

Drawing inspiration from his childhood fascination with dance music and paying tribute to club culture meccas such as Paradise Garage, The Haçienda, and Tresor, Gelvin Elager reveals in his sets what makes this genre truly special to him — its ability to therapeutically enchant our bodies through movement. A DJ and producer constantly in search of his own unique voice, standing on the brink of a new era in his musical journey. Co-founder and resident of the Saarausound collective, whose name originates from his hometown, Żarów.
