Filip Zaręba comes from Busko-Zdrój, a town with which he feels a deep connection and whose local life often inspires his creative work.
He graduated from the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków. Already during his studies, he appeared in productions such as La Vida Del Pedro (dir. Ewa Kaim) and the musical Pieśni piekarzy polskich (dir. Klaudia Gębska). In 2025, he joined the ensemble of TR Warszawa. He made his debut on the TR Warszawa stage in Trzask Prask, directed by Krzysztof Zygucki. As a theatre actor, his credits also include Fortissimo (dir. Marcin Liber).
He became known to a wider audience as the new performer of Stanisław Adamczewski in the second season of the Netflix hit series 1670. On October 17, the film LARP. Miłość, trolle i inne questy, directed by Kordian Kądziela, will premiere in cinemas, with Zaręba playing the lead role of Sergiusz. The film won the Youth Jury Award at the Gdynia Film Festival.
Beyond acting, he also creates music under the pseudonym Stjopa.
Filip Zaręba is also involved in film initiatives in his hometown. In Busko-Zdrój, he made his own films, including Freundschaft, in which he served as screenwriter, director, producer, and editor. His next film, Cyrkonia, was shot largely in local settings and premiered in Busko-Zdrój.
His career is developing dynamically — combining theatre, film, and music while maintaining a strong bond with his place of origin.
