Korek Bojanowski
Film enthusiast, screenwriter, director, producer, and film scholar.
He is the co-owner of Amondo Films, a company producing documentaries and feature films both in Poland and abroad. In addition to its production activities, Amondo also runs the smallest cinema in Warsaw — Amondo Kino.
Loss of Balance is his feature-length directorial debut. The film won four awards at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2024, and its international premiere took place at the Shanghai International Film Festival, where it received the Best Screenplay Award.
Korek Bojanowski is the recipient of the “Perspektywa” Award for the most promising debut of 2024, as well as the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Award in the Film category for the same year.
The theatrical premiere of Loss of Balance took place in May 2025.
