Santabarbara
Santabarbara is the latest project by Szczepan, Łukasz and Nikodem Pospieszalski, members of a multi-generational musical family that is well-known in Poland.
Before the pandemic, the band performed at some of the most notable festivals in the Poland. This includes the Spring Break festival, where their performance was recognized by famous Gazeta Wyborcza as one of the 10 most interesting concerts of the festival, as well as appearances at AlterFest in Mysłowice, Tchnienia in Baligród, and on the main stage of the OFF Festival in Katowice.
On May 9, 2024, the band’s debut album released under their own label, with distribution managed by the international label PIAS, which brings together independent creators.
Since the release of the album, the most important achievements include:
– One of the best performances at NEXT Fest 2024 in Poznan, according to journalists and critics.
– Finalists of Gazeta Wyborcza’s „Sanki 2024” poll – recognized among the top 10 most promising musical talents of 2024.
– Performed two closing concerts at „Męskie Granie Festival” in Warsaw on the Radio 357 stage.
– Our music video features Icelandic cinema star Tómas Lemarquis — actor known from the movies: Blade Runner 2049 and X-man Apocalypse.
– Regularly featured on polish famous radio playlists, including Radio 357, Nowy Świat, Trójka Polskie Radio, and many others.
This release is a high dose of musical class, experience, and modernity.
