Spektrum Film Festival consists of two competitions dedicated to full-length films and a short section of The Youth Perspective.
The Spektrum award will be presented to the most interesting title of last season. 5 full-length films from Poland and 5 foreign productions will take part in that competition.
The films of the Closer competition are full-length narratives about the closest relationships and area, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of thinking in terms of locality. The set includes both fiction and documents.
The Youth Perspective is an international competition of short films. Young filmmakers can submit their films in four categories: short fiction, documentary, animation and amatours competition. In the first three categories are for those under 35 years. The amateur competition is open to filmmakers under the age of 21 and are not not participating in film schools. The length of films in each category may not exceed 30 minutes.
Best movie in each section of The Youth Perspective competition is selected by a three-person jury composed of representatives of the film and art industry.
Apart from the main jury, the films are also judged by the local jury.
Short Fictions are watched by participants of occupational therapy in Mokrzeszów.
Jury of the documentary section is composed of inmates in the Detention Center in Świdnica.
Amateur competition – representatives of the Youth City Council of Świdnica.
The only jury of Spektrum and Closer competitions is the festival audience.
