Soviet scientist Sergey Manochin strikes a pact with the Demiurge — a being seeking to free humanity from evil. In exchange for proving his star cemeteries theory, Manochin becomes its secretary, evaluating delusional candidates with plans to save the world.

Sergiusz Brasławski

A musician, former rower, and now a director, screenwriter, and journalist. He began his journey in the world of film by writing screenplays inspired by the intensity of everyday life. Today, he creates projects that combine a powerful message with a meticulous attention to visual form. His three main productions – Gatsby’s Chain (2022), Beyond Stars (2023), and Welcome To My World – have garnered a total of 8 nominations at national and international festivals. Raised on the films of Kubrick, Scorsese, and the Coen brothers, he strives to bring his own autonomous voice to the world of cinema. He says the key qualities that define his work today – discipline and combativeness – were forged through his rowing training. He is currently studying journalism and social communication at the University of Szczecin, combining his creative practice with a growing theoretical foundation. Privately, he is an enthusiast of literature and music, which he continues to create. He is driven by passion, not algorithmic consensus.
