Maxime, a 17-year-old teenager, walks down the corridor of a police station. She follows Karine, a police officer. In Karine’s office, Maxime is interviewed one last time, having to bring back memories once again. Fear is increasingly present. Maxime knows she will have to face her greatest fear. Being in the same room as the man who hurt her when she was a child, her godfather. The confrontation begins.

Sandy started out in editing, after studying at ESRA in Nice. Marie studied theater at the Avignon Conservatory, where she developed a taste for directing actors. It is therefore quite natural that she first works in casting. They met in 2018, during the editing of Marie’s graduation film Unachieved. From this first collaboration was born a common desire for cinema. Confrontation is their first co-directed project. They then decided to create their production company Guarda Films in order to provide more resources to this project and became associate producers. They are currently finalizing the writing of their second short film and carrying out research and immersions for their first feature film for which they are looking for production.
