The film delves into Dalibor’s journey, highlighting his resilience and quest for freedom from his troubled past. Simultaneously battling personal demons, Dalibor finds solace as a fakir in a shabby traveling circus, where the agonizing nailbed becomes his haven. Fakir captures the tension and vulnerability of Dalibor’s struggle for a better future, challenging conventional ideas of healing and showcasing the power of resilience in the inevitable process of breaking the generational cycle of trauma and abuse.
