Madeleine and Alexandre meet on a mountain trail. They have both brought the same book with them: Fragments d’un discours amoureux by Roland Barthes. During their hike, they close their book and open up to each other about their recent sentimental turmoil.

Louis Douillez

A graduate of ENS Louis-Lumière, Louis Douillez is pursuing a career as a camera assistant. At the same time, he writes and directs comedies to entertain his friends: Navigo (2022), Saint Lazare (2023) and Lose Heart (2024). This insatiable need to make people laugh is undoubtedly linked to his rainy childhood in Boulogne-sur-Mer, in northern France.
