Film is composed of 30 short documentaries from Lodz Film School.

A group of pupils is invited to the backstage of a puppet theatre. They watch how puppetry is being prepared. Is it simple to make a puppet? To build a scenography? To plan the show? The puppet theatre turns out to be larger than they expected, the puppet strings – longer, the play – more serious, the stake – higher. But it’s already to late, the show is about to begin.
