Volunteering

Join the team of the 12th Spektrum Film Festival

Recruitment is now open for the volunteer team of the 12th Spektrum Film Festival. If you would like to see the festival from behind the scenes, meet the people who make it happen, gain new experience and spend a few days as part of a film festival – we would love to hear from you.

Applications are open until 10 October 2026.

We are looking for communicative, open-minded and committed people who are ready to work as part of a team. You do not need any previous experience of working at cultural events – what matters most to us is enthusiasm, responsibility and the ability to work well with others.

This year, we are particularly keen to hear from people who can join us for more than one day. This will help us plan the team’s work more effectively and, whenever possible, assign each volunteer to a specific department, giving them the chance to get to know its work more closely and become more involved over the course of the festival.

What is volunteering at Spektrum like?

Volunteers are an important part of the festival team and support us in many different areas throughout the event. Depending on our needs, your availability and the area you are assigned to, you may get involved in:

— supporting the Festival Centre and assisting festival visitors,
— helping with cinema venues and audiences before and after screenings,
— looking after festival guests and jury members,
— supporting promotional and information activities,
— assisting with accompanying events.

It is a great opportunity to see how a film festival works from the inside, discover different areas of festival organisation and gain practical experience of working at a cultural event.

After the festival, every volunteer will also receive a festival T-shirt or tote bag – a small keepsake from the time we spent together.

Animacje z Pasją

This year, we have also prepared something extra for our volunteer team.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to take part in the Animacje z Pasją project and participate in three additional workshops held during the festival.

This is for anyone who would like to make even more of their time at Spektrum and try something new alongside volunteering. If you would like to take part, simply select the relevant option in the application form.

We will ask you about your availability and the areas you would be most interested in getting involved in. Based on your answers, we will do our best to organise the team so that everyone can find a role that suits them.
